Student-For-A-Day (including Free Simulation of Foundation Modules)

Throughout each academic year, NETWORK organises at least eight (8) Open-Day events for Undergraduate students who wish to enrol in our Foundation programmes. During these events we offer simulation classes for a variety of courses in the different disciplines that are taught at our Foundation courses, such as Arts & Design, Mathematics for Engineering, Physics, Mathematics and Statistics, Psychology, Communication and Media, Business & Economics, Computer Programming, Law, Chemistry, Biology and IELTS courses.  This simulation event is called Student-For-A-Day.

A number of these simulation classes are also offered to candidates’ parents during our Open-Days, in separate auditoriums, so that parents may also have a firsthand experience of our system and quality standards as well as meet our tutors and experience their teaching style, skills and methods.  Please access the YouTube link below, to get an idea of a Student-For-A-Day event:

Our Exclusive Course at NETWORK Foundation: Research Project Module with Presentations Annual Contest Event

The Research Project is one of the core modules in every NETWORK Foundation Programme curriculum.  This module is an exclusivity in Greece (and perhaps internationally). During the Research Project course, students are grouped in Teams and throughout the duration of the course they experience hands-on learning on how to use Research Methods and carry out Research Assignments and Project Presentations effectively as they are taught the following skills:

  • standardisation of questionnaires
  • statistical analysis of survey research data
  • presentation of research findings
  • comparative analysis and discussion of results
  • video creation and editing

In April of each year, these Teams take part in our Annual Research Project Presentations Contest.

The contests usually take place in certain famous  auditoriums in Athens and the best Teams are awarded with four different prizes:

  • Best Presentation
  • 2nd Best Presentation
  • Best Video
  • Best Stage Performance
